Mark Zammit B.Sc. (Hons.), M.Sc. (Biol.), MCIEEM

Mark graduated with B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biology and Chemistry, followed by M.Sc. in Biology from the University of Malta.

Before joining the LIFE Saving Buskett Project team, he was employed at an environmental consultancy firm, where he has contributed to the management, coordination and administration of various environmental projects including Environmental Impact and Monitoring Assessments, Management and Action Plans, and Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control. He specialised as an ecologist and has undertaken various studies related to the application of the Habitats Directive, Birds Directive and the Water Framework Directive in various protected areas.

He is also a Full member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management and an active member of the Entomological Society of Malta.
